We had the post today from MrPlasticmodel with his rather impressive work area / display room, and what a great set up he has. Also, there have been some others recently and it's interesting to see how you all go about this hobby. I have therefore decided that in order to redress the balance somewhat you may have the honour of seeing my bench.
Now then, first you have to bear in mind that my kits, tools, compressor, etc etc etc, all got sold off a few years back, and what we have here are the remains.
Now, there is a theme to this. I decided that due to the lack of a fixed working area what I needed was a model makers version of Air Mobile. By that I mean light, with the basic items required, and fully portable, able to be swung in to action at any time. In effect a Rapid Response Bench. Good huh !
So, brace yourselves.......

We have here for your edification :-
1. The bench itself = grandsons toy table. Comes in at knee height to my chair at TV time.
2. Small tool box with a few bit and bobs, including a few enamel paints about 7 yeas old. I dare not open them !
3. Mini drill which is a blessing with the resin kit I'm working on.
4. "Borrowed" nail emery boards from SWMBO.
5. A rather useful lamp and magnifier that I share with SWMBO (it's really for her needle work)
6. In the tool box the remains of 4 different air brushes from which I hope to fashion one that actually works !
(when I get a compressor that is)
