Gents. Just a few shots of the interior of my latest work, the Tamiya 1/35th Sturmtiger. Everything is OOB, and is painted and weathered with emamels, and acrylic washes. Rear engine area was "blacked-out". Most of what you see wont be visable once completed, so most of the effort was on the parts that will be. I will try to post more pics as I proceed.
Let me know what you think :(
Cheers !!

Great start. What paint/color are you using for the red primer?

The red oxide primer is the Tamiya acryllic Hull Red, followed by a very thin black wash. Lastly a drybrush of Testors Model Master II (enamel) British Crimson followed by a slight drybrush of Testors Model Master (again enamel) Steel.
Thanks for the inquiry.
Cheers !

Bob aka Lord Hobby Shop
I am getting in really late on this thread Bob, but thanks for the tip below on how you did the floor, -- the wash and dry brush really made this area visually pop. I see you posted this in July---any additional pics, or are they somewhere else here on the site? Thanks.

Gents, thank you for all your replies. Its been awhile since I have looked at this post myself......lol.
Steve: I have a few more pics up on my Armorama gallerie, and there may be a few shots still on the Nordland AMPS site (www.nordlandamps.com) in their gallerie.
Zod: Yes I do plan on using the Cavalier Sturmtiger Zimmerit set on this kit.
I have not done much work on the the interior of this Sturmtiger lately, as I'm working on closing it up to work on the exterior. All I wanted for the interior was something close to the real thing. Just in case a judge at a local IPMS show flashes an "idiot light" inside the open hatch.
I could always put more detail into a second Sturmtiger kit some day :)
Right now I'm working on Tamiya's Porsche Kingtiger, which I started about the same time as this Sturmtiger. When I move to the painting phase, I hope to knock off both kits at once to save a little time.
Colder weather is here, and I'm slowly getting back to my work bench. Correction: thats now Vbench !!
Cheers !!
