As far as I know it represents a Mk3.

Here is a ML posting regarding tweaks and corrections:

There are a few books on the Chieftain, some out of print, of the latest ones, the New Vanguard is pretty good and not too expensive....

Got tired of asking silly simple questions on ML, Brent?
hi brent,

the tamiya kit is not a MK5, but a MK3.

its not a bad kit, simplified in some places, but still its well worth building.

as for references, if you cant find what your looking for one google tryduxford chieftan (http://cybermodeler.com/armor/chieftain/chieftain.shtml)

the tank in the berlin camo is a later stillbrew mark, but it might help.

you also might want to try asking over on armorama.com, the members over there will be happy to help you, obviously from the previous comment missing lynx members arent!

cheers
