LOL..too funny man. Striking a pose with the big one. :)

That's a lot of stuff man. Have you had a chance to check out the PE sets from LionRoar? I recently got their set for DML's Panther D/A off Ebay for about twelve bucks. The set includes all the normal stuff that you would get with Eduard and Aber, plus the side skirts. Pretty good deal.

You can check out their stuff at:

www.lionroar.net, just be forewarned that the load times are kinda slow. :(

James Tainton

Yes I have had experience with Lion Roar PE. I used it on a blog I was doing on the Tristar Panzer I/A over at Track-Link.

http://members.shaw.ca/artisticsolutions/Chapter21.jpg (http://www.track-link.net/blogs/33)

I was initialy quite excited about the new manufacturer's product but after using it and using Aber stuff at the same time- my enthusiasim has somewhat cooled toward Lion Roar -(there Elephant barrel was merely a bad casting in white metal of the kits barrel put together!)
I firmly prefer the Aber photo-etch now - its seems to have the most accurate engineering and ease of a assembly- The metal of LR is thicker and not as easy to work with as the Aber stuff. I see there are other companies coming out- Voyager
http://www.voyagermodel.com/ for example... I haven't seen these or worked with them in person so I can't say for sure but I think I'll stick with ABER ;)

James Tainton

I picked up the Eduard detail set for the DML 251 ausf. C. I usually only like to use the Aber sets as I find their detail to be more authentic, however I thought I'd give this set a shot just for fun.

I have recently purchased two of the hard cover books being put out by the publisher
Total Detail (http://www.total-detail.co.uk/index.asp)

I got the first and third books in the series of 4 (so far)

this one is the first (click on pic)
http://www.total-detail.co.uk/images/book-250-livinghistory.jpg (http://www.total-detail.co.uk/books-view.asp?strBookID=1)

and this one I got as well
http://www.total-detail.co.uk/images/250-Arch-Pt-2-Cover.jpg (http://www.total-detail.co.uk/books-view.asp?strBookID=4)

the first one has pages of BW and colour photographs of a contemparary re-enactment group with a refurbished 250 with all the uniforms and equipment. I found the quality of the pictures to be somewhat disappointing as the focus was a little soft and the images were more artistic than technical. For that reason I would not recommend the book to those looking for a clear reference on the 250 ala the Achtung Panzer series and others. I did like the Uniforms, Standard Issue Equipment, Ordnance, Small Items chapters- these were clear and concise.
It is a very well crafted book but, not a techies bible...
The second book while not as thick is still chock full of period photographs of the real items in the various theatres of operation.
I have only been able to brifly glance thru both titles so... more thoughts may follow in time... ;)

I finally got this reference book on German radios of WWII. It is a very well made book hard cover clear colour pics. The inside covers every type of radio and some history, design and construction discussed. There are some fundamental wiring diagrams as well.

Hi James!
You got a nice one. I have this, too and it looks just great. It has lot of detailing potential as it comes with fully displayable engine unlike Revell. Tracks look nice but a bit intimidating. Hopefully fit is good, otherwise there is lot of problems ahead.

okay also to update- I did get some of these new decals from Bison for the Panzer I
http://members.shaw.ca/panther5/goodies/bisondcal.jpg

The painting profiles are great and the decals are okay but the Balkenkreuz - the yellow has a white edge on them- looks like the registration was off or maybe it's meant to be like that-
I also got two new books from Concord- one a very nice collection of painting from Ron Volstad-
http://members.shaw.ca/panther5/goodies/volstadblitz.jpg

and anoter book on the Totenkopf Divion
http://members.shaw.ca/panther5/goodies/deathhead.jpg

You're more than likely going to have to use those fenders either way....which isn't a bad thing...I just wish that Tristar didn't put pz III style fenders in there...that seems like one of the most basic of things to do (the fenders)....

As I haven't seen the kit to really speak from a knowledgable position on the look of these fenders
I think from this post the look can be explained by the shrinking down from 1/24th scale to 1/35th scale so ...
Saul Garcia

Can't blame Hilary June 30 2005, 2:59 PM

Hi Guys,

I spoke to Tom Jentz and he informs me the original plans, at 1/24th scale, dis have the proper pattern but scaling it down to 1/35th made them appear as dots. Since the bottom of the fenders are so poor, I will just replace them with Aber's set....or Part if I get my hands on one.

Regards,
Saúl

I don't know why everybody is so willing to trash this kit -espacially considering that most people that would give a crap about the accuracy of the fenders would replace them with PE in any case because of the thickness issue let alone the supposed "dot" pattern. Seems to be a real negative "spoiled" mind set out there- wow a little flash- THROW IT IN THE GARBAGE!!! I CAN"T BARE IT!!!
What a load of hogwash. I'll bet you the rest of the kit sings compared to the genriatric Tamiya Panzer IV ausf. D, (which I have by the way and there is a lot more additions and work needing to be done on that sucker.!!!) I will be getting my kit tomorrow according to Dave my local plastic pusher, so I will post a more informed opinon after the event. Tell me R.C. , do you have the kit yet? Or seen one in person? ;)

I also purchased with my own hard earned money these items.
Two sets from Cutting Edge that will help accuratize the Panzer III I'm working on, a mantlet replacement and return rollers that don't have that knock-out mark right in the middle
http://www.kitpic.com/is.php?i=15096&img=cuttingedgepziii.jpg

for reading material I finally got No. 7 of Armor models- I have eight already and missed getting this one first time around- This magazine is pretty economically priced compared to some of the higher end mags out there. This issue deals mainly with the Hetzer.

this is a nice little profile with some great pics and some very nice drawings for scratch building rarer versions

and to top it off the piece of resistance.... the Afrika Korps book from Heimdal

GERMAN ARMOUR AND SPECIAL UNITS OF WORLD WAR II

All major tanks and armoured support vehicles are presented, from the Panzer I to the King Tiger along with assault guns, self propelled artilery, halftracks and armoured cars.Additionally, many of the tanks and support vehicles modified for Operation Sea Lion are shown during testing or later use during the war.Rare vehicles such as the Landwasserschlepper, anti-aircraft barges, sturmpioner boats and the Suka Zu Fuss are included too.The photos illustrate many field modifications to an assortment of vehicles together with interesting and innovative uses of such vehicles. The photos are excellent quality and almost all of them are previously unpublished. Many are presented full-page.As an interesting extra the author has included an extensive section on the Kustenjager (the German equivalent of marine commandos). As part of the Brandenburgers, the Kustenjagers took part in many landings in the Aegean and the Mediterranean.A brief (15) but very interesting diary of their operations is included in the text portion of the book. Also included is a 16 page colour section highlighting many of the vehicles seen in the photos. This title is a must for any modeler or photo enthusiast.

Editorial Reviews
Book Description
The focus of this book is the tank battles fought during the opening phase of the war in North Africa. What really happened during the engagements? How were the tanks fought? What were their strengths and weaknesses? Not simplified generalities, but substantive, basic facts gleaned from searching for details in the surviving original records. The accounts of each battle are excerpted from the original reports written by the participants directly after each engagement. To understand the basis for the outcome of the battles, it is necessary to possess a basic understanding of the capabilities of each type of tank, its opponents, and how they were tactically employed. The first five chapters in this volume provide descriptions and technical attributes of the British, German, and Italian tanks and anti-tank guns along with the tactical doctrine from the period. Chapters six through eleven contain the details of the tank battles fought in North Africa during the period from February 1941 to June 1941. Translated excerpts from the Deutsches Afrikakorps war diary are used as a backdrop to provide a chronological guide as events progressed. An interesting feature from this war diary was the brief daily weather report revealing how hot it was and when sand storms occurred. Details on the actions in the tank battles are taken from after-action-accounts written directly after the engagements, enhanced by excerpts from war diaries of the armoured units involved to fill in the preliminary moves, buildup of strength, combat losses, and details on the actions that weren't contained in the after-action-reports. This book is compiled from the results of digging through original records for over thirty years in an attempt to find data that would aid in assessing and understanding the tank battles that took place in North Africa. Tom Jentz is also the author of Panzertruppen 1933-1942, and Panzertruppen 1943-1945 (both titles are available from Schiffer Publishing Ltd.)., over 100 b/w photographs, 30 line drawings, 8 1/2" x 11"

these books from Tankograd Publishing are very nice- they have very clean/clear and unpublished pics. The three books cover different vehicles. Each one starts off with WWI cars (which though I'm not really interested in those right now, they may come in handy some day) but progress to WWII Panzers and Halbkette.

Got this one a couple o' weeks ago from J.J. Fedorowicz (http://www.jjfpub.mb.ca/) here in Canada
It's part of a whole series on W.W.II subjects.
Some of the initial anticipation was met with a bit of a let down. I still like the book, mainly because I just love books. For the more critical, I have to say that I think the main bulk of the pics have been seen before. There has been some complaint about the use of a matt style stock for printing the pics as well. It is still a nice collection with a section in the rear on the SturmTiger. There are some colour profiles too. I would suggest you take a browse through a one before you buy.;)

I also got this larger one on the Panzer III. It too has the matt paper, (which I don't mind). It is a pretty big book with 300 B?W and colour pictures. There are many technical drawings and interior layout photos. There are many colour profiles- some in the traditional 2D format others in a computer 3D format. Many of these compy generated images have a very irritating and inaccurate skin texture on them- don't know why this was done??? :(
If you can afford it I would say it's worth it to get.

This book was a big disappointment when regarding KV-2. I bought to aid my Trumpeter KV-2 project but I must say it is nearly useless :( There are only few pics of KV-2 and only one from behind. There is no, in pics or drawings at least, told differences of early and late KV-2's. But there is lot of pics other earlier KV's.

Hi again James,
I have also this Marder modelling book and it is excellent. Of course there could more photos but there is always a limit to number of pages

Does Panzers in gunsights have unseen pics or are they just recycling old ones?

And one more question, How do you find this 251 book compared to WWP's 251 book which is quite good.

Sorry to reply so many times but I just can't help myself ;)

I picked up this book today.

(from J.J. Fedoriwicz's site) Sturm auf Moskau (Assault on Moscow) (Pour le Merite). Hard cover, large format, German text, 160 pages (of which 32 are text), 14 black and white photographs and 103 color photos plus 3 color maps. Beautiful photo album covering the first year of the war on the Eastern Front. This is the first volume of a planned multi-part set. Several of the color photos are full or double page. (really like the artwork from Barry Crook)

Today just happened to walk in at the right time and scored the only versions of these kits on display at the local hobby store "Magic Box Hobbies"
This was meant to be a "sample kit" not to be sold), but the propriator said since I was such a good customer I could have them ;)
The new Panzerkampfwagen IV/E "VorPanzer"

I purchased the second in the triology of this colour photo book series from Pour le Mérite covering the Germans incursion into Russia. Many excellent photos. I ordered it from J.J. Fedorowicz here in Canada.
http://www.kitpic.com/is.php?i=22816&img=indietiefenrusl.jpg

Also scored this Hunnicut title on one American tank with Second World War beginnings that I find interesting. Wonder how much it would get on ebay? I got it for $109.00 CND.
The Tamiya Pershing kit is in the home stock.

Well from a quick look over I would have to say the Dragon one looks better + it includes some PE parts that will help make it look more detailed. I will try and scan/photo the two kits so you can make your own juudgement.
A few things were dropped off by the mailman today from Scalewerk (http://www.scalewerke.com/default.htm). I got two sets of Schatton barrles for MGs.

The barrels are really nice. But I don't know about the tracks- there is soo much flash- I think I'll stick with Friulmodel (or ModelKasten) in the future, :(

well it's not too bad bad but multipy the number you need to clean. A toothbrush may work but I think a sharp new X-acto blade should come in handy as well. Some pics of the Panzer III winterketten.

Hi James, Hi guys,

Yeah WW2 Productions have really dropped the ball lately I think with their quality control. When James Blackwell was involved, as Anvil Miniatures, the QC was perfect, and there was barely any flash on any of the links produced. Its a shame really, as I like the ease of building of WW2 linx.

Those Shatton barrels look brilliant. Anyone need a toothpic? hehe

James,

Thanks for posting the shots. First of all, the Shatton mg 34 is friggin beautiful!

one in the bag? Now, there is a fair amount of flash on those tracks, but most of it looks pretty thin. The Tiger tracks, well, a bit more there eh? I guess it's a matter of what you want to do more, after carefully cutting the tracks from the sprue, fit tiny plastic pins in the tracks, then have them fall off, or put tons of little wire pins in, after making sure all the holes are clear of metal flash, or, clean up some flash then stick them together. All in all not too many simple one's out there. I do love Dragon's 250 tracks though, I actually had fun putting those together. ;)

Thanks again J.

I have a nasty cold http://lib1.store.vip.sc5.yahoo.com/lib/musclesurf/nc-cold.gif so while I would like to respond with some comparative photos of different manufactures tracks I think it'll have to wait till I have the energy to take the pictures. ;)
For now some scans of things that arrived in the mail from The Barrel Store (http://www.bentbutnotbroken.com/index.htm). I recommend the place.
First some ModelKasten boogie wheel replacements and tracks for that Tamiya Sd.Kfz.7 that I got awhile ago. I better build this thing before Dragon comes out with their new one..

And for the upcoming work that I still have to do on my RSO/Pak 40 I got this engine kit from CMK

Also I got this Aber PaK 40 barrel.

and for a Panther D project that will hopefully be built one day some MIG* early type engine grilles.

and these ModleKasten wing nuts may come in handy one day...

Evan,

You can actually get a subscription to Ground Power through Rainbow 10. They charge 3000 Yen (therefore actual price varies depending on the value of Yen in relation to the USD, CAD, etc.) per month. That is inclusive of shipping. I have a subscription with them and the new issues show up promptly each month. Of course you can also buy them individually from them as well. Also you can buy individual issue from Hobby Link Japan.

Hi,
this is a bit late reply to this but as I have a comment to this, I will do it. I have had same MK set for 7/2 for ages. It is a very nice set but you are better off with Friul sprockets. MK ones are quite a dog compared to them.

The Tanko grad books are pretty good, in my veiw. While not every photo is super sharp 99% I haven't seen before, sebveral worth the price of the books themselves. I find Tankograd publications to be fairly high in quality as far as the images are concerned

strtgng, as I have not really had the chance to read it from over to cover all I can say is that it appears to be pretty well worth it.

Here are a few items that I have acquired of late.
first- a set of 1/48th scale tool clasps. Since I have begun using the Aber tool clasp sets offered for 1/35th, I have wondered if perhaps they were a little big for the scale, when compared to photos. I want to maybe try using these 1/48th scale clasps on a 1/35th scale tank to see if they maybe are more fitting.
http://www.kitpic.com/is.php?i=25171&img=aber148clasps.j.jpg

Next from Aber is a new set for the DML Jagdpanzer IV A-) that I have in me collection.
There are two sets and I will get the fenders next time.
http://www.kitpic.com/is.php?i=25172&img=aberjagdpanverI.jpg

next from the Aber guys is the set for DML's Initial Tiger I
http://www.kitpic.com/is.php?i=25173&img=Abertiger1initi.jpg

Looking at Flak's Goodies page it appears he is a month ahead of me because I was only able to purchase AFV Number 26 last Wednesday when it finally arrived on the shelf at a local hobby shop.
http://www.kitpic.com/is.php?i=25174&img=AFV26.jpg

A couple of real interesting items- a set of tracks from Friulmodel (ATL-86) for my Sturer Emil build.
http://www.kitpic.com/is.php?i=25175&img=StureremilFriul.jpg

comes with a new drive sprocket to boot
http://www.kitpic.com/is.php?i=25176&img=stureremilfriul.jpg

also I have gotten a ModelPoint offering in the brass perforated, really nice, MG-34 barrel motif that has become quite popular of late.

Well David Byrden has commented that it looks pretty accurate. I really don't have time right now myself to check it all out but if Mr. Byrden says its alright that's good enough for me.
Here is something I picked up just for the funky kitschy box art and concept. I was pleasantly surprised to find the contents to be very nicely sculpted. I will be looking to buy other themes in this company's inventory.

MasterClub initial Tiger Tracks

by: Steve Eslinger [ JPZR ]

introduction
If a kit contains individual links that I find flawed, I will always try to replace them. If a kit has reasonably good quality one piece band tracks, I'll often use them (call me lazy); however, if I am going to go to the trouble of cleaning and assembling individual links, they better be accurate and not too much trouble to prepare.

Initial tracks
Dragon's Magic Tracks included in their initial Tiger aren't bad, but they have a few shortcomings in my opinion. Firstly, while they may not have sprue attachment points to clean, they do have two raised ejection marks on each link. Secondly, and more importantly, they don't have the small cutouts in each guide horn. Neither of these faults render them useless, after all I can easily clean the ejector marks and drill out the guidehorns that will be seen which aren't that many on the early Tigers. Neither is an insurmountable task. One thing these tracks are not going to provide is workability. What's the point of having working (or at least semi-working) suspension, if you don't have the track to accommodate the feature?

Clearly, since I wanted workability, my only solution was to use aftermarket tracks. Turning to the usual suppliers Friulmodel and Model Kasten, I discovered there were limited options. In fact, the only mirrored Tiger tracks I initially found were from WWII Productions. While I have read very good things about this company, I have no personal experience with them. Surveying the prices for these tracks from various retailers, I was less than thrilled with what these were going to cost me. I'm no cheapskate, but something about crossing the $40 barrier chafes me a bit. Just then I stumbled across a line of resin tracks from a new company from Russia called MasterClub. My interest piqued, I googled reviews and found that Perth Military Modelling did a review of their tracks for the BMP and found them to be of very high quality. This bit of feedback, coupled with the more reasonable price of $32, convinced me to take the plunge. Fortunately, I don't regret that decision.
the tracks
Here's what you get for your money. A small bag with a simple white label bearing the company's name and description of the contents. Indescript, but efficient and professional. Inside are four smaller bags, two bags containing links for each side of track and two bags with track pins. Initially, I thought the pins were the same in each bag, but soon discovered that they are different with one bag containing the domed heads representing the hull side of the track pins, while the other pins represent the exterior end of the pin with the cotter ring. More on this later. The label says you get 220 links and 440 pins. The former I found to be an accurate count, while there are many more than 440 pins, which is good considering their size makes them outstanding 'ping' projectiles. No instructions are included other than the statement to "refresh perforations with a .6mm drill". The package states no glue is required and I found that to be completely accurate.

In a word, molding quality is excellent. In building the two full runs of tracks, I only encountered two links with airbubbles. Using a medium gray resin, the molding is very crisp, sharp, and consistent. There is very little flash. There are no large pour plugs to clean, only a very thin seam that runs the width of each link along one side of the track bar. The pins have no flash at all and are consistently molded, no spoilage at all, in fact. Quite honestly, MasterClub's molding quaility in this set is on par with anyone's.
Accuracy/Detail
The tracks closely match the drawings in the Modeller's Guide to the Tiger Tank. Not only do the guidehorns have the oval openings at their base finely molded, there are also three oval openings in the recessions where the links join. While not visible when a run is flat, these are visible at the front and rear of the runs where the tracks wrap around the drive sprocket and idler respectively. This detail is a very nice touch.

Special mention should be made of the track pins here. They really look the part. The domed-head pins fit perfectly into the rings on the hull-side of the track links. The pins for the outside of the track links capture the small detail of the cotter ring very well. The pins are roughly 3mm long. The tracks fit Dragon's initial Tiger's sprockets perfectly, which is not surprising since I presume the set was designed for the kit.
Assembly
Since there is very little flash, and because the pour attachment seam is very fine, cleanup of the individual links is quick and easy. A sharp hobby knife will take care of this task in just a few seconds per link. Many of the links require removing the seam only as roughly half of them in my set had no flash at all. The only time-consuming prep is drilling out the partially blocked holes in the links. Even with this, time is saved because there is no need to drill through the entire width of the link, only 3mm on each side.

Once the holes are cleaned, the pins fit snuggly, but easily, finishing with a nice little click in most instances. I can attest that glue is not necessary. I confirmed this because of an error I made in starting construction. I failed to notice that the pins in each bag were different and meant to go on respective sides of the links. I discovered my error midway through completing a run. This meant I had to remove all of the pins on one side of those links. Fortunately, I erred by using the domed head pins on the outside of the links (you may be able to notice this error in one of the pictures of completed links) rather than vice versa. These proved far easier to coax out of their holes than if I had been forced to remove the external pins from the inside of the track as those would have been recessed inside a small ring. This is where the set suffers from a lack of instructions. Even if one is careful enough to examine and notice that the pins are different, without decent sources or familiarity with German tracks, it may not be readily apparent which pin goes in which side of the track.

These two runs took me about the same length of time it takes me to assemble Friuls, or some sets of Model Kastens (not the ones with separate guidehorns, however, as those take longer). I'm sure the clickable tracks like the WWII Productions offerings take far less time. However, the robust construction of these tracks more than offsets that advantage in my opinion. These tracks are sturdy, with only Friuls being more securely joined.

In addition to the lack of instructions, I must dock the set slightly for a slight warpage in one of the track runs. After assembly, one run of track exhibited a slight horizontal twist. This type of thing is not unheard of with resin tracks, and it was easily remedied by pressing down the side of the track that was lifting off the ground with a straight edge and heating the run with a blowdryer for a few seconds. I did find it somewhat odd that only one run had warpage, however. The other was perfectly flat.
Conclusion
This is a very nice set of tracks. Consider me a fan of MasterClub's pin sytem. While more labor-intensive than clickable tracks, they are far more robust. The pins are superior to Model Kasten's as well, being much larger and stronger. Finally, they score appearance/accuracy points over Friul's wire or pin solution. I was similarly impressed with the apparent quality control the company exhibits with this set in terms of the consistency of molding. A spoilage rate of roughly one link per hundred is a good tally. I will not hesitate to consider other tracks from this company. The online retailer from whom I purchased my set (Model Point US) lists over a dozen track and wheel sets. Their price point places them roughly in-line with Friul and Model Kasten, and considerably less than WWII Productions tracks. Quality wise, they are easily on par with anything I have seen from the former two companies, while as mentioned, I have no personal experience with the latter.

Got this one this week-
http://www.jjfpub.mb.ca/images/Target-Treffer/Heimdal/LAH-Trang.jpg
not really that pleased as there are not that many photos of tanks and is written only in French.
I would suggest looking at one in person before you purchase. If you like pics of Hitler then maybe you will like it as there are many of those.

Hi James!

I received the Heimdal book yesterday from Amazon. (great service as I paid for slow shipping and arrived to Switzerland in less than ten days!)

The book deals the period 1939-1942. at that time it was not even a Panzergreandiers Div son it´s not strange the lack of tanks and heavy equipment. The second volume can be interesting as it will start with the conversion to a more powerful unit, and its role in the third battle of Charkov and so on.

The good thing about Heimdal books is that prints are small and they don´t republish that often (some titles go for 270€ in ebay.fr) Even some recent titles such as the Götz von Berlinchingen are already out of stock.

It can be frustrating if you don´t speck French but it´s not expensive for about 40USD when you pay 15 for a Polish magazine you don´t understand either.

I like Heimdal books a lot. Paper is very good, much better in my opinion to Fedorowicz.

Is the LSSAH book similar in format to the old German unit histories (Munin-Verlag I believe?)? I have the Das Reich photo book, I believe it's a 1970s edition, some great pictures of the troops, but coverage of vehicles is very lacking. Some of those pics are well known too, and are not necessarily of the unit being depicted...

Thanks for the input, Bruga. One thing though, the price is 69.95 US. I had hoped there would have been more coverage of the Panzer IV's in France- and there is a section at the end of several pages but not as many as I had hoped.

I paid 44.07USD by Amazon. In France the book retail for about 55€ or about 88USD.

A very nice book but out of stock is the one dealing with the Grossdeustchland. But, in general terms I don´t think Heimdal books are the way to go for tank pictures. There may be some interesting ones, but rarely new. Most are from State archives and so open to anyone. There are many training and "fill-page snaps". It is a good compromise between text and photos. As there are not many books of this genre in French they are quite popular. The old ones that are out of stock can reach very high prices.

There a couple that are just translated titles: about Tigers (Fedorowicz and original in German by Agte), Panzergrenadiers by Meyer, etc.

Some of their previous work was very good, focused on a certain region: Alsace, Lorraine, Alps, Bretagne, Paris... but are rare and pricey.

There is also a very nice book on the Polish campaign that has no equivalent in English.

There is also a new title on the Totenkompf and, from what I saw some months ago there are not many "heavy equipment pics". (As I don´t own it I cannot confirm if just wrong impression.)

It is a bit disappointing that the "old glories" from Heimdal have not been reprinted.

how is the Abt 210 book? Worth the money?

Hi John, sorry but, actually I don't think I've had a chance to go through the book since I got it. Sorta vicious cycle... work all the time to buy books that I can't read because I have no time to read because I'm working all the time.:( I'll dig it out and go through it although I won't be able to read it, per say.

Picked up a set of four Vallejo pigments today- 2 bucks cheaper and almost twice as much stuff as with Migs pigments. I'll have to try them out with the next finish.
