Aber Barrel question

I have a new Aber Barrel #35L-14 for the Elephant from DML- Now for the most part this is a beautiful item - very well made (best I've seen) but I have a question - perhaps the tolerances were off on this one. I can't seem to insert the little donut that goes inside the muzzle break- it is too big in circumfrance it seems to me- has anyone else had this issue-or is it only mine or am I doing something wrong?

it tight but a LIGHT sanding should do the trick
i'd sand the inside of the muzzle brake by taking a small piece of
sandpaper fited inside and turn it a few times to get the clearance
you need!!
