Question for Etch Mate owners

Hello all Just bought an etch mate at a show this weekend and have encounterd what may are may not be a problem with the tool...it does not hold the parts secure at either end the 2 smallest prongs...all other points are nice and secure!!!
has this happend to anyone else?

Howdy Brian,

I too have the Etch Mate, and have used it somewhat regularly, but have not had a problem with mine whatsoever. For me it's one of those tools that have made working with PE a pleasant experience and not a 'chore'.

I'm wondering if your top plate was dropped, or warped in some manner during packaging at the factory?
