Merkava II

This model was built by Richard Mitchell. Sometime in '97 or '98. It's the Academy kit with some minor converting. The figure is also from academy. The non-slip surface was put on by first softening up the kit plastic with VERY strong glue (ala Dan Norman) then sprinkling on some EXTREMELY fine grain sand (from Ft. Hood I believe). The paint was mixed from this color and that. I asked him and he doesn't even remember which colors OR brand! He's forgotten more than I know :lol: . The skeleton on the foreground is the remains of a horse. I wish I knew where that came from because it's so neat (I think so anyway) it'd be nice to have one for myself. In any case, enjoy!
