Well I haven`t been in here much lately because business at school but I graduated this year so the school problems are over for now. In the meanwhile I still have been busy modeling.
The pics I post here today are of a project I`m working on now is about a dio with a 37 mm PAK being excavated in a forest. So far the PAK is finished (I only have to paint the tires.) This project is big fun and I did some scratchbuilding to show the damage that disabled the gun.
In some of the pics you see the guy I converted to be one of the excavators. It is a figure from MK35 but the clothes this guy wore were a hype in 1930 for the last time and made him a bit more modern by giving him a T-shirt and replacing his head by a Verlinden one without a headpiece.
Well here are the pics let me know what you think about it.

This is not the newest set of pics I have from this gun (in fact I haven`t got new pics yet.) But the second fig is also converted and he is holding a Rusty german Helmet. Further I have scratchbuilt all kinds of additional stuff like a little shovel A Metal detector, Special waterbottle used often in such excavations to get off the mud etc. Rusty Ammo boxes. And some more stuff

All feedback is welcome

Ola People I will first answer some questions but I also want to show a bit more progress I made in this project.
First I`d like to thank everybody for their replies.

Dragan and M@ximus:
what you use for rust ?!?!?!?
I first made the kit in several subassemblies. Added the Damage and then gave it a layer of Diluted putty (the one out of the tube) And stippled it on to recreate the rusttexture. Then I applied one layer of Humbrol #70 Brick red and while that was still wet I added the first layer of MIG pigments "Dark rust" and after that I brushed the model several times with other pigments like "Smoke black" "light rust" and "Europe Dust" and mixes between those 4.

Now on to The progress:

Last two days I have done some nice things for my excavation dio with the 37 mm PAK. And I show you the progress:
First I finished converting the second fig for the dio. I took a kneeling figure from DML and sanded and viled everything off until I had a very thin figure and I basically built the Clothes around it. Here is the figure:

In the middle pic there are also two things visible that I made. A scratchbuilt Pepsibottle wich looks a bit odd with the beverage in it but with the piece of paper in place it will look ok. And the Squeezebottle an unmissable piece in every excavation.
And I made a Etiket for the Pepsi Bottle the year is 1998 and in the summer. The Time where the World Championship soccer was played in France Since I didn`t have an etiket of that I made one

*note this thing is a bit smaller then it appears here for the bottle in the dio the Etiket is only 7 mm High

Another thing I made today is this very cool Metal Detector. I took a picture off the Internet and simply started scratchbuilding. I`m very satisfied with how it came out.:

Well and an overhead shot of all the stuff of the last two days:

Let me know what you guys think of it.

A little update on this dio can be found over on Planetdiorama. Since this is turning into a diorama now I thought it would be more appropriate to post it there and provide you here with the link.
Well it can be found Under the link below.
