Great job on the plow Brian. Be sure to add a little "dusting" of some earth color to the lower hull and the plow then it'll be spot on! :thumb:

Thanks Jim i just put a few more hours into it..and i'm mixing up the earth tones to DIRTY it up.....will post more when i finsh up..

WOW thats great! How did you you do the worn and chipped spots with the red primer showing? It looks goooooood.

hey jeff my computer has been off line for a while with the aol thing.
here is what i did. i base painted the sand color then went back and added in the other colors in layers..1st black at the then steel in the center then the rust color
all of it was tied together with washes and pencil. to get the final chipped effect i went back to the sand color touched it in with a #00 brush and the paint was thinned 50/50 so it would lay in even with the already painted area.then it was all washed again.and again and again..allong with the #2 pencil treatment a few more times...

its getting close to being finished and i'll post some shots soon
