Just picked this up from the LHS. It's a great book for anyone building Tamiya's latest 1/35 kit. It has loads of photos (including interior shots) and descriptions. Includes text on the development, difference between the B1 and B1 bis, in service with the French and also with the Germans. Text is in Japanese and English and this time the translation is quite good.

Looks like a nice book. Does this mean we see a Char on your vBench soon? ;)

No plans to build the Char at the moment. ;) I have too many on my waiting to build list. :)
I picked up the book as I know it will not last long. In my experience, you never seem to be able to get the reference books when you really need them. So now I buy them when they are available.
It's a good read though!

Hi Lawrence,
Did the book have any pictures for the versions of Flammenwerpanzer B2(f) and the 10.5cm leHF 18/3 auf Geschutzwagen B2 (f)... ;)

There are mentions of both versions and a color plate of the flamethrower vehicle. As far as I can tell no photos of either one. The unfortunate thing about this book is that the captions for the wartime photos are only in Japanese. The rest of the walkaround photos though have both english and Japanese captions. :)
