Hi,
I saw in my local hobby shop a Zvesta ISU-152. Could this be a Dragon rebox? I remember Dragon doing one and Zvesta has reboxed Dragon kits before.
There was also a Zvesta ISU-122. Same thing with that?
Does anyone here have any experience with those kits, what quality are they?
Any thoughts welcome.

Hi
I have Zvezda's ISU 122, but I've reworked it to an ISU 122s version (with the gun fixed with a muzzle brake and lighter mantlet). I've also changed the tracks, those from dragon's Is 2 , because the rubber one's from the kit don't look much realistic. The whole kit is quite nice, all of the parts fit together. I can post some pictures of my kit later If you want to.

Siim ,
as far as i can tell the Zvezda ISU -152 isnt a rebox of Dragons kit .
I agree with Radek the kit is nice ,with a bit of patince and some extra details added its a good kit but the tracks are woefull and need replacing with Fruils or Modelkasten tracks .
And another bonus is they are cheap :)

Thanks for the info.
Yes I am thinking of buying this kit and beefing it up with some PE, tracks and a aluminium barrel. At least the base kit will be cheap.
And Radoslaw, the pictures would be nice. :)

Siim,
To answer your original question, no, the zvezda kits are not DML reboxes. They can be found in other boxes though, Italeri. I'm not sure if the original line of kits was done by Zvezda or Italeri, but the lines of Stalin's and Stalin-based vehicles as well as T-34s and T-34-based vehicles are shared by both Zvezda and Italeri.

The Zvezda kit is a nice kit to build but is a bit basic and will benefit from the additions you have planned. The DML kits are said to have some lower hull problems which affect how the tracks fit. DML is supposed to release an upgrade of it's JS2 and ISU 152 kits which will correct this problem
