I am trying to get either the Legend of Resicast AVRE aftermarket product for the Tamiya Churchill. Did anyone put either kit together. Legend is always tough to do since their instructions or lack thereof leave much to be desired. I have never had any experience with Resicast. Any information would be appreciates.
thanks

Hey DJ,
Well my experiences with resin conversion kits are mostly the same, brittle parts and some warping but the Resicast stuff is some of the nicest i've worked with and their conversion kits are real well done, haven't done the one your looking to do but have done their other churchill conv. and was very happy with them. Tom-- thanks for your reply. What other Resicast kits have you done?

DJ,
nice to see you over here my friend!
resicast kits are excellent from what ive seen, ive got their Ram kangaroo, land mattress rocket projector, and a few figure sets. i also used to have the bedford QLT. all are very good quality for resin, with very few airbubbles. some slight warpage in some parts but not bad at all. the PE in their kits is also very good, as good as eduard or any of the big PE companies.
the guy who runs resicast, Graham Seller is famous for excellent customer service, he sent out some missing parts for my ram very quickly.
ive never seen a legend kit, as they are difficult to get hold of over here, but they have some nice looking kits. im thinking of getting some of their modern israeli stuff.
cheers

Well Boy Howdy 210Cav,
Mighty nice to see a familiar face. :-) Sorry I don't have a response for your query, but I just wanted to say "Greetz!"

Have seen theses conversions and am dubious about Legends set as turret seems extremely small, and does not overhang the track guard as I feel it should.
Keep a watch out on PMMS website as hopefully Terry Ashley will do a comparison build of all types available, probably when the Cromwell offering is released.
Maybe that will put paid to all the speculation of which, who, what is the best???
