You are alive!!!! :)
Looks like an ambitious project -- that I know you're up to! Good luck and keep us posted as you move through your build.

Moving slow as usual lately.. but least I'm building now and then.. Travel TEam Baseball's over.. so got a month before Soccer starts up.. if I don't play too much Battlefield!
Kit is kind of nice for Eastern Bloc.. lot of sink holes in the running gear area. Some fit issues with the hull.. needed to do some sanding to get the top to sit down... Front Plate had a big gap so replaced with Styrene..

Hi Tuna
This is my first time seeing this kit being built. It's going to look good with all the AM stuff you are planning to add. Looking forward to the next update. :)
Lawrence
ahhh two years later.. trying to get back into the swing of things.. finished adding friggin @#$!ing bolts (only a pain, because the skill level ain't up there).. started the floor and pedestal

Nice work on the Alan kit. I would suggest getting some Tichy bolts. They are styrene and have a mounting stick. All you gotta to do is drill a hole and pop the bolts in.
Keep up the good work.

This is awesome, I though nobody worked on Alan models anymore. Finish it Charlie!!
Ruben
LOL thanks.. I would not be working on the Alan kit, if I had started it now.. would've grabbed Dragons!!!!.. To think I have Maquette 140/1 on the shelf.. Alan Grille M (which I'm sure Dragon will release soon!)...
on the AfterMarket.. where this ain't such a hot kit.. I'm thinking might save the Aber Barrel for the DML Flak Panzer I or something..

Got both of those- so much for hoarding for the future :( - better to just build what you have and buy only when you need another project.

Tuna, this is a brave assault, I know as I struggled with their other 38t offerings. After looking at your resurrection of the damned :D, last night, I dug out a stale project from about 3-4 years ago...
I have no less than:
- 3 Alan Grillen Ms (one still in the box, the others having various rivet corrections, etc.)
- W/ Update set - Blast (or Tiger)
- Aber Grille update set with fenders
- Fug 5 radios (Tiger Models)
- Tear drop idler sets (Tiger Models)
- resin Gun sight (Tiger Models)
- 2 sets of WWII Prod tracks
- 1 DML Grille H
- w/ Lion Roar update - brass armor plate - which have weak/too small rivets :( (nor do they capture the fact that the front plate has larger rivets than the rest of the superstructure)
- an aluminum barrel
3 sets of Tamiya running gear to replace the Dragon and Alan trash, and a built but never finished donor Tamiya Marder M kit from Stuke, and a Tamiya Marder III hull.
1 Alan sIG 33
a P/E set for sIG 33
My goal was to build a mixed three gun battery - but after letting is sit in the pile of shame for so long, I'm afraid to attack, knowing that as soon as I start, the new one will come out.
Keep building - and this will keep you busy until the new line of 38t goodies emerge :)
