Here are some shots of my latest build, the Formations M4A2 conversion. It will go in a diorama together with DMLs Tarawa set, Warriors Hit the Beach #3 and a converted Iwo Jima marine:

I got some comments over at Twenot (my modelling club) so will need to do abit of touching up. After that. primer is next and then a coat of OD.

I'll publish some more photoas I go along.

As a former Marine, I'll be looking forward to seeing your Tarawa diorama.

Sherman is in base coat now, and I did the first lining of all panels and detail. So this is what it looks like now:

I have completed the markings. They were very thin, so the right one is not on like I would have liked to. The left one I tore apart. So this one is made up of other letters from the sheet.
I also painted the wheels and added some gun metal grey to the wheel rim.

Next step: filters and pigment for creating the beach sand.

Did you use Marine Corps Green for the base coat on the hull?

I first sprayed the hull with Halford black car primer. Then I added a coat of Tamiya TS5 olive drab from a spray can.
