Yugoslav [Czech built] army T-55

:) Hi chaps!, just a few pics of the latest project on my bench!, another Tamiya kit going through the change, this time to a Czech built type used by the Yugoslav army. not going to bother altering the rear fenders as the boxes and spare links will cover those!Still a long way to go yet, will try to remember to post more pics as i progress!

Good to see another T-55 from you, Andy.
The first pictures already look very promising! :) Will you use decals from Bison's Balkan set perhaps?
Btw, what ever happened to the Syrian T-54? I saw the progress shots but seem to have missed a post somewhere showing the finished model... :(

:) Hi again, thanks for the comments, just a small update guy`s! .. i planned to fit the ammo boxes on the rear fuel drum brackets,[ most Balkans Tanks seem to have this feature] but as the Verlinden ones are a very poor representation and after searching thier website i was unable to find the Modelpoint offering!, so decided to make my own, granted i do not have any specific measurements so i "guestimated" the size from pics i have sourced from the net.. just got to add the hinges and latches, the latter of which i will scrape off some T-55 boxes i have in the spares box.
Theo, no the T-54 Syrian is still waiting some paint, just need the wheels back from my good friend Sam!!..

Nice job Andy! I also have that tamiya 55 on my vbench waiting to get my inspiration back. Planning to do it on balkans, perhaps Croatian. Yours look great! Keep posting! :)
