I just recently joined here at PA and was encouraged to post some of pictures I took during 11 years on active duty. Here is the first batch. These pictures were taken in 1988 at Ferris Barracks in Erlangen, Germany. There was some kind of vehicle display for some of the NATO allies, and this howitzer was shipped in from the 1st Armored Division Divarty which was in Pinder Barracks in a little town called Zirndorf.

The markings, while clean, are typical of the time and not just "for show".

Even though this vehicle was cleaned up and painted to be used in the display, you can see the dust on the track and road wheels. And that after being shipped in on a "low boy"!

As you can see in the next picture, the drivers could detach their control panel and set outside the vehicle where they could see it when up out of the driver's hatch.

I have some more pictures of this vehicle in case someone wants a view that I didn't include. Let me know. This is my first time posting pictures, anywhere, ever. If I need to do something differntly please let me know.
