Looks like the shape of the blast bucket is (very) vaguely inspired by the South African approach, with the crew compartment with a wedge shaped underside. In this regard I like the Casspir f.e. see:

Did you say AGEING Humvee? Ageing is words use for things like the CH-46E or the P-3 Orion(actually aged or flat out OLD are better words). Two troopers still going strong and in need of big time replacement. That is one cool looking vehicle though.
