Mr. Harper
Are you guys at VLS going to be doing alot of figures and accessories for the Pacific Theatre of operations? I mean ground crews, tank accessories, aircraft accessories etc etc?
Thanks

Yes we have many items in the works. Do you have anything specific in mind? What about scale?

Maintenance items for aircraft. Groundcrew figures for aircraft. How about an interior to the 2 new tents you guys just did. Pilot figures for the Corsairs, Wildcats and P38's. Maybe martson matting. More army and marine figures. I guess just about anything you can think of.
You guys are doing a fantastic job. Keep the products coming.

Heya, David,
Any plans to do any of the WWII Japanese anti-tank guns in 1/35th scale?
And what else can we expect on the LVT aftermarket front for the Italeri kits?
It would be AWESOME if you did an LVT-4 Flamethrower conversion...
This is a lot more elaborate, but it would be cool to see the Marine M2.4 International Harvester truck, especially with the 4.5 ' rocket racks... Of course, CGM has released the kit (dunno how it is), so the I'd take the rocket racks!
By the way, Eric Hamel and John Lane's "Bloody Tarawa" is a fantastic source of very-detailed and never-before seen photos of the fight for Tarawa. It is a great reference...
Any recommendations on excellent photo reference books on the PTO...? Same for DVD references... I have something called "WWII Great Battles: The Shores of Iwo Jima," and it has some great color footage, especially of the aforementioned rocket trucks... What do you guys out there like on the reference front?
Thanks!
Aloha,
Johnny B.

If your looking for accessory requests, I'd like to see a Stuart fuel tank as seen on Marine Shermans which were used for drinking water, with the requisit tubing and spiget/handle. Thats my ultimate Marine Sherman accessory!
Cheers!

Hi Kerry,
We actually have the Stuart fuel/Sherman water bladder all done, it will be included with my M4A3 "COED" conversion.

Thanks David, that's great news! You guys are doing a great job in filling a big gap in PTO stuff, especially Shermans. I'm about half way through a Iwo Marine M4A3, so that Coed conversion will be a great help. I also liked the 55 gal. drum wading gear pic. I'm planning on doing a M4A2 with just such a configuration. My question about that is, do you have any idea how the area not coverd by the drum on the top engine doors were sealed?
Thanks again,
Kerry

David i'd like to see a a gun crew or mortar team...with shirts off or shirts tied around the waist....or even a guy in his boxers, boots and cover holding a 105 round!

Yes. A tropical artillery crew would be nice.

Having tried to find extra gear for my USMC M3 75mm halftrack I'm finishing up, here are my suggestions: Packs with and without bedrolls, helmets with covers, helmets with liners (I bought Ultracast's set but they seem very undersized compared to resin spare heads I have), binoculars and cases. That's about it for now.
