ADH Publishing, producer of Tamiya Model Magazine, is soon to launch a brand new monthly magazine dedicated to the military modelling hobby, entitled Model Military International Magazine. Issue No.1, May 2006, will be published on April 6th 2006.
The magazine will edited by TMMI author John Murphy, perhaps better known as Spud, with Marcus Nicholls, TMMI’s Editor, overseeing the project. John will be featuring his own excellent models on a regular basis, from quick builds to full blown dioramas, and TMMI’s Editor shall also be contributing articles.
Model Military International Magazine will cover scale models relating to all aspects of hardware used in ground based warfare, including tanks and AFVs, trucks and softskins, artillery, infantry equipment, emplacements of all kinds and even military helicopters.
Particular emphasis will be placed upon the period of the Second World War to the present day, however we will not ignore earlier periods of combat history.
We shall cover the topics of new kit and accessory reviews, figure modelling, dioramas, old kits with make-overs, modelling techniques, historical features, weathering references and more.
We intend to include all types of military model, from plastic kits to full multi-media productions - from styrene to resin, cast and etched metal. We aim to provide articles for all levels of enthusiast, from the beginner to the expert, and everyone in between. We are very excited about this new venture, and we hope that you will join us in making it a success! To pre-order a copy of Issue 1, please click on; http://www.modelmilitary.com
