I know that SSLAH were in Normandy at the time of the invasion fronting with the Canadians and Brits and that they had their artillery there. I'm pretty sure they had the leFH18 105mm but am not sure if they were standard or M versions. Also I am thinking of building a diorama with a 105 in position and a sdkfz 11 waiting to hitch up. Does anyone know if they would be using lates or early towing vehicles? Appart from the Schiffer book on the SSLAH Artillery Regiment 1 I have no other refs with the info I need. And in it they show no vehicles during the invasion. If anyone can point to a good ref or web site that would have pictures I could puruse then I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance.
