Hi all,

You can see a nice illustration here:

Screen drawing (http://www.planetarmor.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=171&st=0&#entry706)

that shows what I need to do. I lost the heater fan to my Jadgpanther and while I think I will try to scratch another one I want to cover the heater fan with a screen to help hide the lack of detail there and I was wondering any of you folks that have built 1/72 tanks and scratched screens before, what do you use for material?

I think faucet screens may have a tight enough mesh but was wondering if there is another better option.

Thanks for the help.

Cheers,
Christopher

Maybe it's stupid but havve you try with gauze and soft foil....may work ;) or to somehow drill foil to make screen ???

Hi Christopher,

Glad you found your lost piece. As for your question re: mesh screens. Try going to a smoke shop and get pipe screens. These screens hold the pipe tobacco in place. They're small, approximately 1/72 scale and are made from metal and you would hardly so any trimming.
