One of the things i like about PA- none of the stupid fights and crazy battles that pop up on ML and such.

Evan, Larry, I whole heartedly agree. THis is a fantastic environment. People can offer constuctive input here and have it accepted as just that, constructive. Im telling everyone I can to sign up and support PA.

I agree with all of the above.
The atmosphere here is the best of all the armour sites....in my humble opinion. :thumb:

Well, if you feel that the WM/Site Owner of a respected site using PWs from the registered users to impersonate others is a 'Stupid fight' or a 'Crazy Battle', just what do YOU consider serious?
Trust and Ethics are at play here - not a 'Turf War' not a 'Flame War'...Jim

Jim,
I don't believe anyone here would doubt the validity of this particular discussion, or ethics of the matter.
What I do believe is sometimes people take things too serious, and although P.O should not have done what he did, The whole thing will mushroom into massive disscussion and heated debates, when all we want is to spend some time with our hobby and with those who enjoy it.
Just my two centz.

Who hacked Saul's post on TL using an admin ID password?
Trust and Ethics are at play here I agree but so is the truth.
Regards to all and happy modelling (love the work around here, very impressive builds).

It is cleary two seperate points, the "crazy battles" did not mean the ethical infraction..
I seriuosly doubt that was meaning.. It's an illuminating heads up for us all

I think many people are making a hen out of a feather. The reactions on Armorama were very harsch. And I think some are acting, and writing without thinking it over.
These things will pop up here too as the site get more populated and visited. That Im certain of. I visit PlanetFigure more regularly than this place but even that its one of my favourite sites theres trouble now and then.
Anyone remember the SGF-topic? ;)

I can understand where Jim is coming from, but a lot of the comments seem real harsh....I'm sure though Paul is getting what he wanted...awareness to being careful about your passwords and such...From what I can recall, that's always been a sensitive issue with him and something that he's often brought up, though in a more subtle way....I still believe Paul is a good person though, contrary to what people are posting (at least, he seems to be like the devil or something when you read some of the posts)...and you're right Janne, it seems like people are reacting without even thinking about what they are saying....
Evan, Larry, Sam (and anyone else that I missed) I'm on board with you guys and the relaxness of PA....I've found myself more and more disconnected from other sites and instead turning to PA :)

Well, the main lesson we might learn is that you should be careful with PWs for websites, modelling or non-modelling. And most of the reactions are rather overheated.
Saw one reaction at a forum, suggesting Paul was a pathetic little guy, who really should go looking for a hobby  ... guess that chap didn't the things Paul has been doing for the last ten years.

I'm closing this topic. The links will take you to what is being reported elsewhere.
You can all draw your own conclusions.
