Hi Marco,

yeah I got mine last night, maybe it was on the same flight as Terrys?

It indeed does look good, but there is something funny about it, something I cant really put my finger on right now. I think its going to be my next build, over on my vBench.

Hi Sam,

OH!!! How lucky you are ;) ...hope you will start to build it soon...we are watching...

I'm looking for their late version. Do you know when it will hit the ground?

I started mine a few days ago-so far fit is fine. One thing missing in the kit is the hull ammo racks. There are also a few other items that aren't quite right-for $70 it's just not right. Dan

Hey Fellas,
I don't have this kit yet but the detailing looks really soft to me. I am just not sure if this is worth the price tag. The delema is I don't want them to stop producing full armor kits, so I may get one to help convince them to stay in the full kit market. Who knows what new subject they may come up with.

I agree with Roy-the detail is soft in the areas such as bolt heads, etc. I planned on buying more of these Hetzer's but won't now unless they improve the kit in certain areas. :( Dan

Hmm...I don't know about this one. Seeing that the detail is soft in some areas and that some details are either simplified or missing makes me think that it's not worth the price they're asking.

Gents. Anyone have any in-progess shots ? I'm an avid fan of the Hetzer (or anything else based on the 38t). I have these kits on backorder with my supplier, and I'm bebating keeping one for myself.

Panzerfaust, your input ?

Cheers !

Sorry Alpen- As I have not seen this kit I can offer no opinion. I am not really a big Hetzer fan in any case- most likely won't be rushing to get this kit - whether great detail or not- I think I have enough on my plate for the coming year with all the Panzer IV stuff coming- this tank has more interest to me than the Hetzer. I do have some of the older DML ones and have built one (http://www.track-link.net/gallery/2192) before but I guess for me it's not a big priority. I am surprised at the Eduard quality issues that seem to be coming up about their armour line- I have their X-1 in 1/48 th scale and it was a real pleasure to build and really nice detail.
