With the impending release of this:

I thought i'd post up some images of my Type 69 that Osprey didn't see fit to use.
After finishing the kit as it appears in the book, I decided to repaint certain sections of it thusly.

Sam,
Let me be the first to say, It looks GREAT! I'm going to have to pick up both these titles in the future. I'll eventually get around to building a couple of these modern russian things. :)
There's some great photos on Corbis of Chechnya war. Lots of modeling ideas. :)

Let me be the second to say this looks great. Very, very good. You've got a knack for this burnt out stuff, with that Panther you did in mind. I love the depth of tone and changes of colour going on :)

Incredible work Sam, as Andrew mentioned, the tonal variety (I think that's how you describe it :) ) is amazing, not too much, not too little. I will definitely have to pick up a copy of this book.

I stand corrected! This TAKES the cake! :)
Very lovely piece of equipment there.
(I've been working on the Trumpeter/Hobby Craft kit of this myself)
