Hi folks,

by the gentle pressure from Panzerfaust over at another forum, I decided to ask for my own vBench here at planetArmor. Now, the bench has been ready for quite some time, but circumstances have conspired to keep me from started using it.

Therefore I will make a gentle start and introduce myself.

I'm a 33 year old Norwegian living in Oslo. Wife, two kids, took up modeling again in 2003 after a 12+ year pause from abusing plastic. My main interest is German AFVs of WWII, but I do a series of WWII fighters for a friend of mine who wants a collection, but who is allergic to the chemistry involved. Scale of preference is 1/35. I find 1/72 too fiddly, and larger scales are prohibited due to limited space. I'm known to change my preferences however, so we'll see what the future holds in store.

My workspace is in our bedroom, so it is a bit cramped, but it works well:

The spray booth are nowhere as tidy now!

I own a Tamiya HG SuperFine airbrush and a SilAir compressor. I started out using them in August, and since I paint in the bedroom, I have certain restrictions on when to paint...

I'm building up a reference library, but it is slow...

No rush however, as I currently prefer to get something built rather than diving into references for every project. But I do enjoy sampling the aftermarket and do a bit of photo etch, which should be evident from future stuff on my vBench.

Best regards,

Arild Moland :)

Welcome aboard! Always nice to see new blood around here.

And your reference collection may be small, but has two very much needed books! :)
