When I opened the box...I found that most of the sprues are came from their pervious Ausf C kits...
Here are the new sprues pictures...

The new clear Periscope parts - I like the Periscope from DML's more than AFV's...cause the Periscope from AFV's are molded in tint-green color, not like the DML's..in WATER CLEAR ;)...and also have air bubble inside...

Looks cool Marco, I don't mind the green so much as the bubble inthe vision block.

gettin' fancy- I like it  You can lead and we will all follow ;)
BTW where you get reference pics?
Also -I don't think that bubble will be a problem- once the thing is painted you'll not notice it...
The reference pictures for the Rear Towing Pintle are from AFV modeller - issue 18. There are 5 pages color pictures for Sd. Kfz 251 Ausf D...many interior pictures

Great SBS on the tow pintle Marco! Thanks for that, I'll be refering to it to detail several, or all, my half tracks and AFVs. ( especially what ever ends up towing my 88) :) Keep us informed! Love this format, seeing how others build.

Looking good so far. Any PE work planned? I had trouble with step 4 on my Pakwagen. Parts B10 and 12 wouldn't quite fit right. How does it go on this one?
Any PE work planned?
No planning use any PE set...just built it OOTB...

I was wondering the same thing-as this was a weird area on the Sd.Kfz. 11 and my last 251.9 from AFV. See here-

Here is the scan of AFV's instruction sheet
http://www.kitpic.com/is.php?i=19451&img=251-7-25.jpg
I found that the seats of AFV's are too simple...I used 0.2mm brass plate to detail up the saets...see below SBS picture... ;)

Here is the comparison with real seats...It's look much better than AFV's

Very well done Marco. What a difference some super-detailing can do :)
Keep up the good work!
