The Show in Calgary was great!

I had a great time meeting all the guys we all know from the internet and some I didn't. Tom Cockle was there, Ron Volstad, Gary Edmundson, Doug Jameson to name but a few. The show was apparently not as well attended as the previous year (most likely because of the major rain storm that hit the day I arrived) but there was still plenty to look at. The high lite for me was meeting all the guys really. ;)

Real cool...I've never seen those ones of his before...(I guess he really likes early war stuff, mainly (?)) :lol: Is that a Tristar (?) IV D (?) that Tom did? (below the pic of him)

I believe these are for an upcoming book by Tom. These are all old school tweaks on Tamiyas stuff I think. He did post these over on ML CC a few months ago, as he completed each one. Try a search?
In any case I have a link to some cheezy pics I took of some of the models at the show. It's the best I can do for now.;)

It was great meeting the two of you as well and the dios were really well done! The cammo on the Tiger II was very eye catching ;)

The grouping of the three Panzer IV's and the Neubau Fahrzeug are from a very talented guy by the name of Tom Cockle, (moderates the Axis Forum over at Missing Links) They were built with a lot of scratched detail added for a book that he has coming out from Osprey I believe.
I like the Neubau Fahrzeug, I may have to scratch build one one of these days when I get some time. wOOt
