Hi,

I'm working on a resin conversion and I'm having some trouble because it's a bit new to me (I cant believe how brittle this stuff is!). So, what I'm looking for are any articles online/discussions that outline some of the differences between working with resin and injection molded kits, any additional tools needed, etc.

Maybe someone might be interested in doing an article on this in the future?

Thanks,
Mike.

The part about using a mask while sanding is most important. The dust lodges in your lungs and causes cancer. Wet sand if possible.

A razor saw is best for removing the mold plugs but a sharp knife is good for some trimming. I avoid using clippers except on mold plugs because the resin will usually fracture unpredictably.

If a part is warped then heat with hot water or hair dryer, bend to correct shape and let cool.
