So this is the Revell version that came out around the same time as the Trumpeter kit. At first glance the Trumpeter offering seems to have it on this Revell kit. There is more detail and finesse in the Trumperter kit. This Revell one is not so bad though and the simpler construction philosophy shown here is actually somewhat a relief :lol:
I thought that I had done more on this build and posted more but I guess I haven't. In any case here is some pics that I took a while ago when I first got the kit.

the front suspension is put inplace. The parts are a little simpler than the Trumpeter version. One good thing is that Revell has included a tie rod where Trumpeter didn't.

the small pulley that is mounted on the back of the frame for the winch is way more sipmle on this Revell kit compared to the Trumpeter. It's actually solid so you can't thread a tow cable through it . The rear hitch part is put in place as well.

the winch is really weak as well but because all of this will be underneath the kit - not many will ever see this.
