Just wondering if you all can help me- specially those from Deutschland. I am planning a trip to Deutschland in the spring (March 1) and need to find out all the museums that may be of interest to someone like me who wants to get some good reference photos of the real deal. I have been to Koblenz last time(want to go again- this time with my digital camera!) and the Munster museum was closed for the winter when I was there last so those two are on the list - but what other ones? Viele vielen Dank für die Hilfe. :)

If you are around go here:

Sinsheim (http://www.technik-museum.de/uk/sinsheim/)

I think you sent me this info when I went last year. Anyway they have some nice pieces there.

IIIRC a couple Hetzers, Panther, PzIII, PzIV, StuG III, Marauder, PzIV Flak, tons of smaller vehicles like Swimm, Kubel, 250/251 etc...plus a fair amount of Russian and American stuff as well.

Not to mention airplanes and I think the largest collection of cars in that part of the world. Really a top notch place and simple to get to by train, the platform is right at the museum.

Hey James,
sorry for the late reply, i saw this question to late.
Like Christopher said, the Sinsheim Museum (Auto- und Technikmuseum Sinsheim) is worth a visit as well.
They are sometimes sharing stuff with Koblenz an Munster.
A problem is that some stuff there isnīt restored very good or wrong.
So they got a G13 which they call a Hetzer even though it still has his swiss license plates.
Even though itīs really worth a visit as they have a GREAT collection of cars, planes and trains as well.

If you are interested in planes, Marine and cars, the Technikmuseum Speyer is worth a visit as well.
They also got a U-Boat (you can go inside) and a pretty nice collection of Modells.
Hereīs the URL:
Technikmuseum Speyer (http://www.technik-museum.de/uk/speyer/)

If you like, let me know before you come to Germany, I would love to meet you one day.
I also could check out if I can make it possible to see some stuff closer than usual.

Hey James,
I live in Rheinland-Pfalz if you know that.
The town is Germersheim.
1h from Koblenz, 1h from Sinsheim and 20 Minutes from Speyer.
Munster would be to far for me, but the other Museums are fine for me.
From Minden to my town itīs ca 4h if I remember correctly.
Would be great to meet you. :)
