Hey Guys,
hereīs my latest finished kit.
Sadly I donīt have any WIP-pics, but they wouldnīt be very interesting anyway as I built the kit pretty much ootb, with the exception of some ABER tool holders.

It shows a Tiger II of the s.Pz.Abt. 506 .
As I prefer my stuff pretty much clean, I went for a vehicle in warmer condition than the Ardennes. I donīt know if itīs historicaly accurate, just my personal taste ;).
If you see any mistakes, please let me know as I plan to build another, detailed Tiger II sometime in the future.

Finished as usual with Tamiya Acrylics for the paint scheme, Details in Vallejo.
Weathering with Oils, Airbrush and some pastells.

The figure comes from Alpine and was painted with Vallejo for the Uniform and Oils for the Face.

I hope you like it.
Comments, good or bad, always welcome :).

Hi Markus,
this looks great! I like it a lot as too much soot is not nice;) What mode lthis is? I guess it's not the first version by DML as tracks were useless?
What looks really eye catching is AA gun ring! How did you do chipped paint effect?

Br,

Niko

Hey Guys,
thanks a lot for the kind words!
I really appreciate them :).

Niko,
itīs DMLīs King Tiger late production with new pattern track
The Nr. is 6232.

The kit is actually pretty good, but I donīt know much about the historical accuracy as Tigers usually arenīt my cup of tea ;).

The chipping on the AA-ring was pretty easy.
After the weathering I painted the chipped area in lightend dark yellow. After that I painted it with some ModellMaster rubber, leaving some of the dark yellow visible around it. After that was dry i rubbed with a soft graphit pencil over the top of the ring. Pretty easy, but I like the result :).
