If so, let me know. I can scan some that I have and post them here. By the way Dave, the Marines use the same plow the Army does.

OK Jimbo,
I'll bite, I'd love to see some pics of that. Maybe we will make it a Trakz product? By the way, Bill says if you want to plan a trip here to MM, he'd be happy to spend a couple of days walking you through that conversion that we talked about.

Thanks Dave ;) Funny you should mention Bill. I just got off the phone with him. I was having some trouble with painting a brown leather jacket. Let me scan the pics I have then I'll post them on here.

OK, I can't post the pics here. Gordy, will the "attach file" option be available before too long?

The easiest way (on me ;) ) is to use http://www.photobucket.com it will enable you to place more than one image (up to 10) per post :)

Yup Chris, that's the one. John, I wasn't thinking of taking request although if it were for you Id entertain anything (well, almost :o ). I have about 8 or 10 closeups I took while at Carso from various angles to include how the plow attaches to an M1A2.
Photobucket, here I come. I'll have them up tonight.
See you guys then, Jim

OK, let's try this now

We'll give this a try now
the pics are too small. I shrunk them down to attach them but it appears I went too far.
Gordy, is there a way to attach the pic directly to the post (I rode the short bus, so I need blow by blow instructions if it isn't too much please) instead of providing the link?
Thanks, Jim
Another try......

on the either side of that address(URL) add this to the front:

and this on the end (DONT FORGET THE SLASH!!):
[/img]
So in the end it all looks together like this (i have to use the "code" so it shows the text and not actually does it):

Jeese... lookin' at some of those close-ups its seems that that whining that the so called "experts "expell about chipping and rusting not being real are wrong in this case...

Great shots Jim!
Would you have a shot showing where the hydraulic line enters the tank? I had thought the line went in on the drivers right side vision port but this appears to go in elsewhere.
Thanks!

Howdy Jim,
Superb shots! Especially of the 'teeth' of the plow. Good fodder there for weathering and painting. :)

Tread.

Well Jim,
I was looking for some back deck shots, nothing more ;-)... Maybe during your next 10 Day War or TT VIII but do not go to any trouble to get them. You still heading this way in April???

John, I'm not sure if I will be able to. It appears as if Uncle Sugar has decided I have had enough of cramming a 6 member family into a 3 bedromm house. I'm moving into a 5 bedroom soon. TBD. Oh yeah, send me an e mail telling where you want the shots and I'll get em fer ya ;)
Derek, you are right. I didnt show that. On an M1A2, the power cable (not a hydraulic cable) enters through a junction box on top of the hull to the left of the driver's hatch. You can barely make it out in some of the pictures. I can't find the one I had of it so I'll have to dig around for it. I'll put it up when I do.
With the attachment like this, the driver no longer loses his vision to his right.
James, YES (!) modern tanks do chip. Just wait til I post the pics of an M1A2 (focusing on the differences between an A1 and an A2). In some places parts are chipped to hell.
